I'm a big tea drinker and I enjoy this product. No smell or taste from it. Just be gentle separating the bottom to widen it. It will tear open if you're too rough. Pretty sturdy product overall though. Out of a pack of 100 filters I sometimes get one or two filters that tear on me or open up on the bottom when adding the loose leaf tea (ALWAYS before I add it to the hot water). Never had it break open in the water. Happy with product, I recommend it.

I use these filters at home and work for all kinds of teas and coffee. It's the perfect size for my mug and works much better than the metal mesh infusers at filtering out fine particles. It's generally easy to use. Just add contents to the bag with a teaspoon and fold over the flap 2 or 3 times. I did have problems with the bag coming open if I dropped in the bag in before pouring in the hot water or if I stirred my tea/coffee with the bag still in the mug. To prevent the bag from opening, I have to pour the water in before adding the bag and hold it against the side of my mug with one hand while I stir with the other. It would be great if the company could devise a better way to keep the envelope closed.

Really highly recommend these. Great value, very easy to use. I like that they're natural, and they make wonderful tea sachets I use in my small business. Ppl love them.

I've been using these bags for several years for loose-leaf tea. They're great. Then my wife found "coffee bags" (like regular tea bags, only with ground coffee) which are great for single cups (and soooo much cheaper than those pods), and I wondered if these would work as well? YES. Just put a teaspoon or so of ground coffee in a one of these bags, add it and water to a cup or mug, nuke the cup/mug until the water just boils (DO NOT OVER-NUKE! Boiling water and coffee grounds are not fun to clean up in a microwave) then dunk it a few times, and there you go.

My second request for product review in a row where the questions weren't applicable to the product. Disposable tea sachets have no flavor and one doesn't clean them. They're disposable. That's the whole point. I will say that the one disappointment I have wasn't really addressed. They're ever so slighly shorter than the last time I bought them, making them a little harder to fill and harder to use on taller cups/pots.

I’ve been using these tea filters for years and I am extremely happy with each and every purchase I’ve made. I prefer the #1 because it holds the perfect amount of tea for one cup. I especially like that you don’t have to wash all the little bits of leaves out of the tea strainer which can get very messy. They are convenient, easy to use, and best of all, disposable!
