Kitchen Gizmo Citrus Slicer

This product works well. I've really only encountered two issues.1 - if the fruit is soft at all (ripe oranges), it kind of squishes the fruit before cutting it. It's not horrible and doesn't really cause an issue, just something to note. I've tried using it faster to alleviate the problem, which seems to help somewhat.2 - Cleaning without a dishwasher can be a pain. As with any slicer, trying to clean blades will destroy any sponge, dishwand, etc used to try and clean it. This sucker has blades in a star pattern, which makes it more difficult. If you don't have a dishwasher, I would just stick to using a knife to slice your fruits. The slicer does come apart into 3 separate pieces which makes it easy to place in the dishwasher.Other than those two things, the item works as you would expect. It will fit pretty much any standard fruit (up to about 3" diameter).

I love this product simply for the fact that I can quickly and safely cut oranges for my students at lunch time. I teach pre-k and they have a hard time peeling oranges. This is helpful!The downside is that it starts to get super messy and sticky after doing a few oranges. I have 20 students so you can imagine the mess. I like that the parts separate so you can wash it but it’s sort of a pain to get in the crevices.

Oranges make my Grandma's hands hurt so I got her this and it's pretty good so far. Also would be great if you have to slice a bunch fast. Only criticism is it's not big enough for really big oranges.

The blades on this aren't sharp enough to cut most oranges. I kind of just rips through it, and you have to be really rough to get it to work. I've begun cutting them with knives and just using this as storage.UPDATEThe seller saw my review here and issued me a refund without me asking for one. While this particular item didn't work great for me, I'd buy confidently from this company again as they seem to stand behind their products more than most.

Product does what it's supposed to. I would have given it 5 stars if they had included instructions. I had to consult a YouTube video to find out how to use it (admittedly, it's not that complicated, but it also wasn't immediately obvious to me exactly how it worked).

This little gadget came in handy for my holiday party. I needed to slice a bag of lemons, limes, and oranges. This helped cut down on the time drastically. At first it was a difficult getting the slicer to slice all the way through. But, after a few tries I was successful!!

This cuts lemons and oranges well. I really felt like I was going to break it I had to push down so hard, so idk how long it will last but it cut as it was suppose to.

Well made product that I can tell is going to last. Because of the great price I was a little worried it wouldn't be durable, but I was completely wrong. We got this for our special needs son who struggles with fine motor skills. We wanted him to be able to cut his own fruit, so we tried this and it's working great.
