11/5/2018 OMG - this is the best bowl I have found to slow my hounds down when eating. I have 3 hound dogs and tried the bowl (without the base & legs) on the youngest (2 year old) last night. She normally finished off her 1 1/2 cups in seconds (literally) and this new bowl actually took her minutes instead of seconds. She was not stressed about getting the food from the little egg shaped compartments like she has been with other slow eating bowls that I have tried. I ordered the one with the base & legs as I have a very tall hound with IBD that needs a taller bowl (I will use it with the legs) and a middle sized hound with hip dysplasia (I will use it with the base and without the legs) and he is more comfortable with a slightly elevated bowl. I am going to try this bowl on each of the other two older hounds and if all goes as well with them, I will order 2 more. I will also take videos to upload once I have tried the bowl with the other two dogs. I will not be using the base for a water bowl as I feel the plastic may get too slimy. As a VERY fussy dog owner I highly recommend this bowl!11/12/18: All three dogs are using it now and it works great for all of them. Still planning to add a video in the near future. I have tried numerous slow feeding bowls over the past 20 years and nothing compares to this one!

This is being used with a 15 WK old lab that just inhales water and food. I've tried alternatives and nothing has been as successful as this product. I highly recommend it. Not only does it limit each pocket location for food, but it spreads it out and keeps him moving about.UPDATE: 1/4/2019 the added photo shows what 1/2 cup of dry food looks like in the bowl. Instead of a full cup, I only add half at a time to slow the puppy inhale even more. Really like this dish and as he grows, it will slow him even more because right now his snout can fit right into the grooves (hence the 1/2 cup at a time )

EXACTLY what we needed for our 3 month old Aussie!We had ceramic bowls that he would literally throw around the kitchen and we would also catch him chewing on the rims. When he would eat his food it was gone in like 20 seconds flat.I fed him from this bowl for the first time today and it took him a couple of minutes to finish. The large water bowl is also super great because there is always water there when he needs it. Love the option to elevate higher as I’m positive we will use this when he grows up lol. I think one of the best features are the rubber feet on the bottom - it literally doesn’t budge from our floor so there’s no temptation for him to throw it around! So thankful I found this product. Don’t hesitate, it’s worth every penny!

This works! My shepherd is an aggressive eater and this does slow him down! Love it!

We have a pit bull mix we adopted from our local humane association. Currently feeding her 2 cups twice a day of science diet adult large breed lamb. The kibble is on the large size, and was concerned that the amount and size of kibble would not fit into some of the “prettier” designs. Also, our goal was to slow down her consumption, not frustrate her on how to get to the kibble. Her feed time went from less than 30 seconds (no joke, less than 30 seconds for 2 cups), to a more calm and controlled 4 minutes. Works as advertised. I highly recommend this product.

My basset hound is a true gulper and this has more than tripled the time it takes for him to eat. It frustrates him and the first day he just barked at the bowl, but it forces him to slow down, which is great. I also like the added height - it is the perfect height for my dog. It is also easy to clean and seems very durable.

Wow! I am super impressed! Our yellow Lab is a really fast, aggressive eater, and we have tried everything, including handing his after dinner carrots to him one at a time! Not now tho! Used it this morning for the first time, and it works just great, for both his dry food and his carrots afterwards! And there’s no metal bowl spinning and flying out of the elevated stand! I just ordered another one for our cabin, too! Highly recommend!

I recieved the Deluxe large neater feeder today,It will work perfectly for my dog and 3 cats water bowls. In photo it is next to medium slow feeder. The slow feeder does slow my dog down so he doesn't gulp his food so quickly. I came across these bowls over 5 years ago and fell in love immediately. In photo are deluxe cat bronze, which honestly would probably work best for only 1 cat. The medium in bronze with leg extensions has been the main water bowl for all my animals until today, and was purchased in 2014. The medium slow feeder in aquamarine has 2 cups of food in it and no leg extensions and the large deluxe doesn't have the leg extensions on.

Best slow feeder/raised bowl I've ever purchased. I've owned 4 english Bulldogs who require the slow feeder. I have spent a ton of money on various feeding bowls with little success. This one is absolutely amazing. Only suggestion would be to have it in stainless steel to lessen the chance of bacteria with plastic

We have Two dogs , feeding use to be a frenzy... this controls the tempo , slowing our male down making it far more calm , eliminating food competition. (Fantastic) . The bowl itself is very well constructed no sharp edges and its design really works allowing for proper digestion as well. Sturdy unit . Highly recommend

Wow this really worked! I had a dog who would continually gulp their food and then be prone to vomiting it up and now with the new dish she just nibbles at the little spots and eats her food slowly there's been a huge Improvement. I saw this on Pinterest and I was happy that I checked it out.

I have purchased a couple of slow feeders and I really liked this one the best. It keeps ALL of the food contained within and it accommodates the large portion I need for my Cane Corso.

Took the cats a while to friendly up to it. But now the eat like normal. We got this because they were gorging themselves and then puking almost daily. Not a single barf in 3 weeks. I highly recommend this feeder if you have the same problem with your cats.
