We have a 2 year old kitty that is always looking for trouble to get into! I have purchased Chitter Critters for him separately, that is what prompted me to make this purchase! He LOVES the little birds, he loves them more than the Chitter Critters. I throws them up in the air and chases them, it is a riot! Also, the dog is not taking these toys away from him, he loves that as well!!

This toy looks a bit more like a chicken wing than a bird IRL! My cat liked it at first but gradually lost interest. That's fine with me, though, the sound effect started to annoy me! I can confirm that after months the sound is still going strong and has not gotten quieter or started cutting out even one bit. Spooks me every time I nudge it walking around at night! The fabric is also going strong and still soft. If your cat likes these kinds of toys they'll probably love it.

One of my Siamese loves toys that chirp and make noise. The original one I purchased two years ago has finally had all the feathers, beak and sound removed, so I purchased her a 2nd. She still likes the battered one best, but she does find this one amuses her as well. Fun cat toy!

Originally bought them for my boys and they went crazy over them. Loud and very sensitive to movement making the sound go off. Bought some for my daughters cats and you could barely hear the sound. Disappointing to say the least and her boys didn't even play with them, disappointing for the price.

Both cats love this toy. You can definitely see them go into "hunter" mode and it is so adorable. My only concern is when the battery runs out, it's inside of the stuffed head so I will have to figure out how to approach that problem when it comes. Otherwise a great toy!

Has a real bird like chirp and feathers. My bengal female is more attracted to it than my male DSH.She carries it around and meows.

My cat is very skittish with noises, but I bought this cute little bird as a Xmas gift. He loves it played with it so much I thought the battery had run out and bought another one. Once the new bird came in the old one started working again, so he now has 🐦 🦜 options.

My cat prefers to hide this toy in a large paper bag and, from time to time, pounce on it and get excited by the chattering noises it makes Occasionally she'll pick it up and give it a bit of a kicking. Not her favourite toy, but one that she enjoys from time to time.

I ordered two of these, one arrived in working order but the other did not work. I opened a return case only to find out that the return depot is in USA. Not worth returning as I have to pay for the return costs but also annoying that one has arrived and is faulty and not much I can do about it.

Our cats have absolutely no interest in this, and if you happen to kick it whilst it's on the floor, the cheeping sounds are deeply irritating - a waste of money.

We were VERY saddened to discover that our brand new Chickadee Chirp arrived totally chirpless. The plastic tab was intact but when we pulled it out: crickets. Radio silence. Both our dog and our kitten LOVE any toy with sound so they know exactly what 'the great unveiling' means (i.e. when we pull the tab out with great fanfare so the toy becomes 'alive' for them)...they were so so SO sad when it didn't work...they won't play with it at all, just sit there looking at it, then looking at me, then at it -- you get the idea. Will contact the company for a refund or exchange...generally SmartyKat is an EXCELLENT brand, and these little toys are very well made compared to other ones from competitors, so hopefully this is just a one-off error.
