This works!
I put this in my protein shake and let it sit for a few minutes. It sometimes makes the shake a little thicker and I don't notice the grit. I am able to add fiber to my diet. I have had issues with not going for days. I didn't want to take laxatives. Generic versions of Citrucel and Benefiber did not work for me as well as this did! I will now get it on subscribe and save.

It works!
This is my first time using psyllium husk, and I wish I had started earlier! I have had general "gut troubles" most of my life, typically trending toward constipation, gas and bloating (no diarrhea). I also have PCOS and have heard positive things about psyllium for people with early signs of insulin resistance, related weight gain etc. I take probiotics as well.I can't really speak for long-term effects yet. But I CAN say that it works very quickly on your gut! I will hope that if you are reading this, you are not going to be afraid of anything TMI, so here goes: it makes stool very soft and easy to pass while still remaining solid. So you are not just swapping out constipation for diarrhea. (But please don't use this IN PLACE OF healthy, whole fruits, veggies and grains! They're important too!)Personally, I do not mind the taste at all, and I am rather sensitive to the taste of supplements. It has a very faint, flat, almost oatmeal-y or paper-y flavor. You can't taste it in juice and only barely taste it in water. The texture is not bad. It looks a little unpleasant, but the texture actually feels similar to a pulpy orange juice and it is very easy to drink. I imagine it would be easy to add 1-2 teaspoon to a smoothie as a thickener with great results.I started with 1 tablespoon in 8oz of water, followed by another glass of water. It is pretty thick in this ratio. I didn't have any gas or bloating and took an extra teaspoon that night before bed. The morning BM was healthy and easy to pass. Success! I have to also add, I was diagnosed with a severe vitamin D deficiency several years ago. Once my levels were normal, my constipation reduced significantly. I have no definitive proof that they are linked, but I am inclined to think that they are since I was likely D deficient for many years and had a pretty quick resolution (within 1-2 months) of a lot of my mild to moderate health issues after high-dose supplementing.

Awesome fiber
Love this. I mix it in orange juice right before bed and it does a amazing job. I noticed a huge difference since taking this. Makes u feel full longer and helps with regularity. ( if u know what I mean ) I'm no longer bloated. There are many health benefits for using psylluim including lowering your risk of heart disease.Heres what I love about organic India's organic whole husk psyllium.1) it's organic! This is a big deal for me I only use organic chemical free products.2. Non GMO productThey use no synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizer or treatment are not ever used.3. Flavor isn't all that bad. Like I mentioned above I add it to orange juice and drink really fast and I can't taste anything other than the orange juice.4. I'm not bloated anymore5. Tmi but my hemorrhoids have gone away since using this product.6. The price is affordable I don't have to break the bank to buy organic in this case.I would definitely recommend buying this brand if you are wanting to try organic psylluim. If you found this review helpful please click helpful below :)

So far, so good.
This is the only fiber supplement that has worked for me. I have tried plenty of them. It started working the same day, even with using less than the recommended amount. I haven’t experienced any gas or cramping like I did some of the other brands. Just be sure to drink plenty of water.

Time to shut down the soft-serve machine
I'm a big fan of psyllium husk as part of a healthy diet. Our modern diet consists of low-fiber processed foods that our bodies have not evolved to accept. The basic mechanism of action is purely mechanical. Psyllium husk absorbs water and turns into a slippery, jello-like substance that your body cannot digest. As this lubed-up mass slides through your colon, it takes with it all sorts of garbage that would probably prefer to just hang out in your poop tube. The result is a perfect, solid corn loaf and a squeaky clean digestive tract that is ready for another round of grandma's cooking. If you take enough of the stuff, your anus will walk away cleaner than a microchip clean room. You'll be able to close down your soft-serve ice cream stand for the season. No need to wipe here, folks. Leave that toilet paper at the store - where it belongs.Don't let them fool you with the labeling. There's nothing special about "organic" psyllium husk unless it gives you that warm and fuzzy knowing that you're crapping out nature's finest mucilage. It's all about the same, and it all works. This particular brand does not use any flavoring or colors, leaving just a can of raw husks, which tastes like drinking a cup of something you scraped off of your lawn mower blade. When mixed with a protein shake or anything else with flavor, it blends in just fine. If you find it at a good price, go ahead and buy this stuff. Your body will thank you.

Quality organic fiber at a good price
I’m a paid subscriber to a consumer lab that conducts independent lab tests of supplements and other products like this, and this was rated very highly for lack of impurities and, most importantly, lead and other potentially harmful contaminants. Incidentally, Metamucil was found to have alarming lead levels in their testing so by all means avoid that. For a high-quality, organic product this is reasonably priced and works very well. I’ve been using the similar Yerba Prima Psyllium Whole Husks Colon Cleanser (also from Amazon) that is a little cheaper and was similarly highly rated but is not organic, which is why I decided to try this. The Yerba does seem a little more dense and has a little more fiber and does seem to work just a little better, but if you prefer organic this is absolutely the way to go. Highly recommended.
