Best modeling putty for sculpting minis and models
I use this stuff to sculpt and mod small board game pieces. sculpting in putty is a difficult skill to begin with but this stuff is easier to handle than millput or that yellow/blue epoxyPros: very easy to sand and chisel. don't bother trying to sculpt things while its in putty form, i just sculpt the general shape or geometry wet then use chisels and sand paper to carve out my sculpture. this stuff dries amazingly hard will not crack or break if you drop it on the floor, you can add metal wires to increase its strength to sand out very delicate shapes like wings on a planeCons:1. 30 min hardening time: this could be a pro, but for me it doesn't give you much time to sculpt the object, and you're limited to how much you can sculpt cause of time constraint so don't try and sculpt 1 big piece at one time or the putty will be to hard to work with2. very very sticky stuff; you can wet it for sculpting but too much water and it will be to loose to form something and dissolve into a white mess3. make sure you wash up immediately after 30 min mark, this stuff drys and sticks on your hands and is a pain to get off!as for working underwater i highly recommend against this as the putty dissolves in water the more you work with it; best to sculpt and air dry, then sand or chisel to make changes, or come back around 40 minutes as it begins to harden an quickly make impressions with a rock or tool

Matches my rock perfectly.
Super easy to use. Didn’t submerge the aquarium rock, just did it dry. Definitely keep some water on hand as the epoxy will stick to your fingers like flour.

This stuff works great. Used it dry to set some aquarium rocks in my reef tank. Initially had issues with it sticking to my fingers when applying, but dabbing a bit of water on your finger prior to application works great (to be fair, the directions mention this).

Does not work on wet surfaces.
This may be able to cure underwater, but it does not work on wet surfaces. In spite of a claim to the contrary, it will not stick if the surface is not dry. Even a reviewer who gave this item 5 stars noted that using water will keep the putty from sticking to your fingers. The fact that it won't stick to wet fingers is a good sign it won't stick to wet anything. This might work on dry surfaces, however.
