Easy enough!
Seems to work good. The bottom retaining piece moves well out of the way so easy on and off of my 2 inch ball. My original was annoying and would easily get caught on top of the ball. i like that the threads are plenty long and that they use a locking nut.

Arrived promptly as promised. Easy to install and much better product than what I had before. Took less than 5 minutes to install using only a 3/4" socket. I am very well pleased with the design, quality, price and delivery.

Exactly as pictured
This coupler repair kit is what is says it is and looks just like the picture. It fit my 2004 5x8 trailer coupler perfectly and installed in minutes. Adjustment was easy. The instructions that came with it were easy and pictured well. Would highly recommend.UPDATE: After 3 years, still works smoothly and still looks like new.

Works
Works well on my bass tracker trailer. One problem is the trailer has a lip for the locking tab and it interferes with the lip built into this unit

Unclear instructions, but I figured it out.
This Husky latch is a lot beefier than whatCame with the trailer. It’s a 2” latch. The directions seemed simple, however, an additional information would have been nice.It did not say anything about placing the upper part of the latch over the bar/bolt (mine is pressed into place). The first try I installed it the wrong way(no clear drawing or direction. It wouldn’t latch onto the ball.I eventually figured it out how the placement went.Next issue, the spring. I had to use sting to compress the spring to be able tomanipulate the ball latch over that bar. Then once I got everything in place I cut the string, voila, it works get. Just make sure to tighten the bolt enough to remove any bounce when you pull/ push the trailer.

It Works!
I had tried "another brand" from a huge company and tried a vise and sledgehammer to try to make it work. Two and a half hours later, I knew this one wasn't working no matter what. It took less than 15 minutes to install the Husky. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to repair the coupler. Great product!!

Good looking product
Installed the coupler as instructed, but it doesn't fit around the ball unless I screw it to where the nut is barely on.

this was pretty sturdy.
this was pretty sturdy...easy to put on...and I am a girl! lol...no offense women. But I was impressed with the quality. removed my old rusty one that seemed loose and I could not tighten ....pulling a big pontoon boat made me nervous!

Works as needed.
Replaced a really old one that I couldn't get to latch anymore.
