I have been attempting to make German bread for some time. Of course, my first batches were not very stellar as I had not purchased the correct items needed for making good, fluffy bread. It wasn't until I bought this proofing basket that my bread began to rise to an all-time high. This basket is so easy to use, add a little flour, place dough in the basket, cover, and place in a warm place. And done. Caring for the basket is just as easy. Remove excess flour, shake out the basket, and done. Who would have thought a proofing basket could make such a difference. Everyone now looks forward to eating my bread and I am so happy that I am using the right tool. This is my everyday go-to proofing basket. Are you having trouble with your bread turning out hard and flat? Your baking experiences will change if you just use the right tool. A proofing basket was the help I needed. I know many people just use a board or a mat and put a towel over and wait until it rises, but that just didn't work for me. My bread was so hard that even if I put butter on it, the dog not eat it.

Perfect sizes for my Dutch Oven. The only thing is there is no instructions gow to wash them. I see little fuzz.

bowls are perfect for bread proofing and they don't stick much if you dust with a light flour beforehand. Love the bread scraper and scoring lame - they both are great and perfect for bread making. super happy with this purchase. haven't yet determined the best way to wash the liners that fit over the bowls, but assume that will not be an issue.

The quality is nice and will be perfect for my sourdough bread making! The scraper is of nice quality as well. Not sloppy and too large to handle. Thank you!

I liked that this came as a kit however it is the basket is smaller than expected. Easy to use and clean, use plenty of flour so it doesn't stick until it gets seasoned. I like that the tools are stainless so they won't rust. The lame is far better scoring than just a knife. It's a great proofing kit that that my mom and I enjoy using to bake bread.

Bought these for my Grammie for her birthday, since she loves to make bread. She has never used them before when making her homemade bread, but seemed excited to try! I'd say that's a win! Also, the baskets have little covers that can go inside of them, so they are cute and decorative when you slice your bread up and need somewhere to put it for serving.

My son loves all the tools in this kit.

The proofing baskets are fine however the linen liners are shredding after one use and hand washing.

These banneton baskets have been put to good use and have stood up well. They are very sturdy, good quality and the liners are easy to remove for washing. I have not washed them yet so we will see how well they stand up to that but so far so good
