Update 2/16/19: I added pictures of the Hiwill Tropical Seas 37oz bottle with an added chug lid from Simple Modern and a silicone boot from Proof Labs. These additions make this bottle much better in my opinion. I am very happy with the silicone boot fit as I had to guess as to whether it would fit this 37oz size since I had to order the size that was made to fit Hydroflasks 32/40oz flat bottom bottles. Though this bottle does a great job of keeping my water ice cold, I down graded my review by one star because my bottle did not come with the advertised strainer insert and the company may be a bit unstable as the exact bottle I purchased labeled ‘Hiwill’ is no longer found on amazon. I’ve purchased a few Simple Modern bottles that offer a better selection in colors and lids and recommend them over this brand! I ordered this water bottle in the 37 oz 2 lids - tropical seas color and am so far happy with my purchase. It is not overly heavy and seems to have a quality build. There was some discrepancy in the product description as to whether the 37 oz came with the strainer and I found out upon delivery that it does NOT come with a strainer. The one thing I wish it had was a silicone/non-slip base.

I really like these bottles... They do what they say they will do... Ice water says cold for 24 hours...An issue I had with one of the bottles. The flat cap would not screw down tight. When I tried to screw it down; it would start to tighten, but would pop back to a previous thread and not stay secured. I asked my Son if he was having the same issue, and he said his was fine. While drafting a note to their customer service, it occurred to me to check the gasket more carefully in the lid. It looked okay but when I pressed on it hard with a probe, it moved a bit. So I pressed it down quite hard and ,sure enough, it seated down about another 1/4". Now it seal fine and can be tightened down properly. Some folks have complained that the bottles leak, I suspect this may be the problem. Tightening down the lid simply cannot overcome the force of the improperly seated gasket.This is why I gave only 4 stars. Otherwise, it would be a 5 star review.They need to take a look at their assembly procedure and final QA...

So many things I loved about this bottle and few things that could have been better. I love that its 28oz most companies either do 24oz or 32oz, so you tend to go from too small to too big. 28 was a great in between. Also the bottle is skinny and tall which makes it very portable in a book bag bike or car. I have a 32 and it tends to be too big for my backpack. It comes with two caps, I mainly use the straw cap which unfortunately does not hold in cold temperatures as well as the other cap. The straw works great. Overall a great bottle but it doesn’t hold cold for as long as claimed especially the straw cap. Also if you add water at room temperature with ice the water will only be cool and the ice melted. With all that I still gave it 4 stars for great quality and it does its job for the most part. Also because its a skinny 28oz which I love. Maybe someone will drop a skinny 32oz soon. Overall love this bottle

I absolutely love this water bottle. It keeps drinks cold for a very long time. It’s super durable, it might get a ding here or there from heavy usage because of drops. But because the bottle has a flat bottom verses the bottles that have the plastic soda bottle like bottom, it will always stay upright even if a ding happens.I love the straw lid, but the reason why I put 4 stars was because the straw lid is the older style that has a rubber tip. You see by the teeth marks from a child it will wear down much faster. I like the new model straw lid which is all plastic so it doesn’t deteriorate. So I will have to order one of those even though I spent extra to get 2 lids so I could have the straw lid.I like the 27oz size because it’s so much easier to grip your hand around compared to the fat 32oz bottles. Plus it holds more than the average water bottle.

This is my fourth type of bottle with a straw mechanism, and it’s held up the best so far regarding not letting air in while drinking.By not having an internal rubber bit in the cap that bends each tome, it doesn’t break as easily with wear — you might need to press in with your finger on the nozzle’s flip to keep a perfect seal, but that’s easily done one-handed and is far better than “well, the internal rubber broke, nothing you can do.”That said, if you expect to have your bottle tipped over a lot it’s not for you, as it’s easier for a little water to leak horizontally than with other designs.The vacuum insulation is maybe a little better than other bottles I’ve had, but there’s not magically different (though extremely effective).All in all, using it exclusively for drinking over 4 months, it’s already lasted the longest of any other I’ve tried. A safe recommend thus far.
