AmeriBag Classic Leather Healthy Back Bag Extra Small

I read a ton of reviews on these bags before ordering, so I couldn't wait for it to arrive! I've had it for a little over a week and I don't think I will ever have anything other than an AmeriBag Healthy Back bag ever again! I'm already scheming about how to get one in black (Christmas maybe?). The extra small still has lots of room and I wouldn't want anything larger. I love all the compartments for organization, the clean lines, the comfortable adjustable strap and the effortless zippers. I also love that I can reach in this bag without taking it off. It even has a neat little ring inside to attach your keys so you don't lose them. Everything about it is easy and organized. I bought this bag because I have shoulder and neck problems and it does such a good job of evenly distributing the weight on a very comfortable strap, that it hasn't bothered me at all. And, I think it just looks really cool. This is the most I have ever spent on a purse, but the quality and workmanship are so good that I know I will be carrying it for years to come. If you're thinking about buying one, I would urge you to go ahead. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I have used Ameribags for years, and have about six, in different colors. They are roomy, extremely well made and comfortable to carry. They are also very, very durable, whether made of leather or fabric. I have some of both. One of mine is about ten years old, was carried almost exclusively for over two years, and still looks like new. The styling is simple, classic and always appropriate.This is the first time I've ordered one through Amazon, and I found the price to be well below what I've paid in the past through other suppliers. Delivery was very prompt, and the bag arrived in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend these bags, ordered through Amazon, to anyone, and will likely order another one myself should the need for a different color arise.

I wasn't sure how this bag would work...and why...but I found out right away. The way the pockets are designed, contents are so well-distributed that I feel like I'm barely carrying a bag. Make sure to take full advantage of the pockets...otherwise, you might as well use a different bag. Cross-body is the most comfortable, but I've worn it like a shoulder bag and it's still wonderful. The leather is incredibly soft (no break-in period) and the red color looks great with my purple coat and anything else. It will stand up, just like in the picture; it will also stay put when placed on its side without falling over. It's very well-made, right down to the zipper pulls (covered in red leather). There is nothing I would change in this bag. I purchased the extra small and it fits the contents of my Coach hobo bag (c 1980) without compromise.

This is my 5th Ameri-bag. I originally had a medium that I had for years until the zipper gave out. I wasn't so keen on the brown leather as I was the black so i hardly used that one. The 3rd was a nylon and I preferred the leather versions. The leather wears like a charm. I purchased the larger version and it was too large and ended up feeling heavier when I carried it [perhaps too much space to start throwing everything in it?]. I purchased the small version this time and fit everything but one item into it. Granted the side flap pockets are smaller and I had to be a bit creative but this bags has so many unique compartments I found a space for all my essentials. The best part is the outside side pocket opposite the strap. My phone fits perfectly. This version has two inside clips which is a boone for those who have cars that don't require a key in the ignition. There's even a long inside compartment to stash receipts or other things. This bag is so comfortable on my shoulder and so well balanced. I stopped buying other purses and got rid of all my Dooneys and Coaches for this bag. I have now been using some version of this bag for over 10 years.

This has to be one of the best bags I’ve ever had! Many people don’t like the look and that’s too bad. So much room with pockets you could get lost in😁 The leather is so perfect, it’s not stiff and doesn’t stink like cheap bags do. This bag is a fashionista statement for a diaper bag too. Again, I highly recommend and for so many uses! (I got the medium size); it holds iPads, ur dog and bag of dog food plus all the extra stuff ie. Wallet, glasses, cosmetics, bathroom toiletries did I say a months worth of dog bones and maybe ur cat too. Seriously, it’s a great bag that can be worn in different ways, the leather and stitching are perfect... I’m so random, but the bag will keep you organized. -the end

Got this bag June 2022 and absolutely loved it. Perfect size, design is easy on back, fits all my stuff, and leather is easy to clean. Fast forward to sept 2024 and the zipper to the main compartment is broken so I can’t use the purse. For the cost, I expected it to last longer.

I like to be prepared. Therefore my purse contains just about everything I might possibly need. I have spent years trying to find the "perfect bag". I was convinced there was no such thing. The handles would be too weak, not enough compartments, nowhere for a smartphone, keys would get lost in the bottom...I could go on. I had almost lost hope. Then I stumbled upon this bag on Amazon, and my search was over. I thought I might need the small, because I carry so much stuff, but found that the extra-small holds everything just fine.It has a clip for my keys, an outer pocket that holds my smartphone, a strong, yet comfortable handle...I could go on.I realize, at least for me, this is a LOT to pay for a purse. However, I have had it for almost a year now, I use it daily, and it still looks brand new. The leather is high quality, which means if I must set it down in a restroom or some other toxic area, I can disinfect it with no adverse effects. I truly believe this is the best purse in all creation!

i have the nylon one to replace the one i've used for over 20 years... this leather one is a bit small... i did not realize it was extra small. it still has all the pockets to keep everything i need but littl room in the main part of the bag like the nyone one i purchased for travelling. i use this for every day.

Very good quality and very useful pockets for everything you need to carry.I would recommend it to anyone male or female.

Exquisite!! The quality of the construction is superb. I have looked for years to find a purse/bag that is so comfortable to wear and have easy access to its contents (my stuff) and everything inside can remain so organized! I am so happy to have found HBB by AmeriBag!

We love these. First version was black canvas-like material and is now around 20-something years old at least and only a few minor scuffs. The leather one will wear beautifully.

It was exactly as expected, very happy with purchase. Would buy from seller again.
